Sea Dog nights originated as a SCA event and has grown into a full blown Pirate Festival and takes place early in July each year. They build replicas of the old sea rafing ships that were typically used by pirateers in the very early centuries.

Radio Interview with Jenn Luna Wolf Co Creator of Eastern Iowa Pagan Pride
Today I was pleased to be able to talk with Jenn Luna Wolf who is co ordinating the upcoming Eastern Iowa Pagan Pride Event in Cedar Rapids Iowa scheduled to take place October 12th 2013.
I discussed with her about what people can expect to be able to see and do during Pagan Pride as this will be the first annual Pride day for eastern Iowa, Jenn stated that this will be a totally FREE event for people to attend as the main focus is on the community and to see what kind of response they get from the local community to expand and plan for bigger events in the future. Currently they have some entertainment lined up as well as music being provided by Silver Wolf Entertainment as well as some local singers, they also have some educational speakers who will be helping to educate others about paganism and spirituality along with fun stuff for kids to do as well.
Since this will be a first for the area, they are really hopeing for a good turnout and positive feedback so they know what to do to prepare for next year and the upcoming future, Pagan Pride events are truly becoming a popular time not only for the pagan community but for people in local communities as well so show your support and attend your local Pagan Pride event this summer and fall.

Saturday June 29th, 2013
I was very pleased and excited to be able to spend time with my good friends from Spiral Rhythm again this past saturday as I was joined by all 7 members of the group!
The group is the most down to earth bunch of people I have had the pleasure of knowing and enjoying the music they create. When they are performing, the energy that they create and the response they receive from their loving fans is truly something magical. their main focus is giving their music to the pagan community and creating a positive energy atmosphere for the people who love their music and dance to each and every song they sing.
The group recently completed a new album which they solely relied on the contributions of the community and fans to help them create this new album with songs that reflect who they are and what they enjoy doing. you can findtheir new album on their website at www.spiralrhythm.com and soon to be on ITunes and CDBaby.
If you have not listened to the music of Spiral Rhythm, I encourage each and every one of you to truly listen to the music and the words that go with the music and you will have a positive experience listening I gurantee it!
The seven members of the group consist of 6 women and 1 guy named Rick who is does drumming and vocals and surprisingly enough, it seems Rick and I had the same kind of upbringing in our music paths playing trumpet in school and I have to give him alot of credit by being the only male in this group of wild women lol.
Some ofthe members also have other talents of creating hand made items which they sell at local festivals which I will be adding links to each of their own websites they have created as vendors so stay tuned for that info to be coming very soon!
I also played two of their new songs off of the new album which I will be sharing at local events I will be DJing at and doing remote broadcasts from so many others will be able to listen to the new creations.
thank you too Spiral Rhythm for joining me once again for a fun filled afternoon!

Freedom to Succeed Means Freedom To Fail
